This initiative is part of the momentum driven by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in favor of developing sport, strengthening African unity and supporting a youth that embodies progress and ambition, according to a statement from the ONCF, which reaffirms its commitment to supporting one of the continent’s major sporting events.

As a central player in national mobility, the ONCF will mobilize its expertise and railway network to ensure fast, safe and seamless travel for the millions of supporters expected during the competition, and to facilitate movement between the various host cities.

Through this partnership, the ONCF reaffirms its mission to connect territories and bring people closer together, placing sustainability and inclusion at the core of its actions.

The official signing ceremony took place in Rabat, in the presence of Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and First Vice-President of CAF, Mohamed Rabie Khlie, Director General of the ONCF, Patrice Motsepe, President of CAF, as well as representatives from the sports, institutional and media sectors.

With this collaboration, CAF and ONCF reaffirm their commitment to making the 2025 AFCON an exemplary, sustainable and accessible competition, serving supporters and enhancing the influence of African football.
