Morocco to Host Africa Sports Expo 2025, the Largest Sports Exhibition in Africa

For the occasion, the Casablanca International Fair will become a hub for the African and international sports ecosystem, bringing together 180 exhibitors from 20 countries across a 15,000 m² space, with 100 speakers and nearly 30 activities planned over three days, according to a statement from the organizers.

Designed as a true crossroads for sports, innovation and investment, Africa Sports Expo 2025 is already positioning itself as the largest sports exhibition ever held in Africa, with the clear ambition of supporting the deep transformation of the sports sector on the continent, the same source said.

For this 2025 edition, France is the guest of honor, reflecting the organizers’ intention to strengthen ties between the Moroccan, African and European sports ecosystems. The French delegation will be strongly represented, with 35 exhibitors and more than 40 experts and speakers participating throughout the event.

A special conference titled “Morocco – France: A Partnership of Excellence in Support of Major Sporting Events” will highlight the depth of this strategic cooperation, particularly in sports engineering, major event organization and knowledge-sharing.

According to Mehdi Sekkouri, CEO of Stadia and organizer of Africa Sports Expo 2025, quoted in the statement, the event goes far beyond a traditional trade show. “Africa Sports Expo 2025 is much more than an exhibition. It is an international platform that brings together sports professionals, experts and enthusiasts to create opportunities and share experiences. We are proud to offer a high-level event on the sidelines of the CAN, where innovation and networking will be at the heart of every activity.”

Africa Sports Expo 2025 aims to become a key gathering for African sports, bringing together economic issues, training, infrastructure, technology and governance.

The first day will feature the Sport & Careers Forum, a meeting space for young graduates and recruiters in the sports sector. It will also include the ceremony unveiling the recipients of the “Équipementier sportif” label, highlighting leading industrial players in African sports.

The second day will be dedicated to strategic reflection with the Africa Stadiums & Arenas Forum, an international forum bringing together architects, venue managers, event promoters, public decision-makers and investors. The day will conclude with the awards ceremony of the 4th edition of the Morocco Sports Awards, recognizing the strongest performers in Moroccan sports.

Africa Football Forum will close the final day, gathering leaders of African football to discuss “the levers to grow African football by 2030”. Visitors will also be able to attend the Predator Morocco Freestyle Football Championship, organized by the global freestyle football association, a standout event combining sport, performance and urban culture.
