In the presence of Egyptian figures, institutional representatives and key players in the tourism and travel sector, Royal Air Maroc highlighted its role as the official carrier of CAN 2025. The airline reaffirmed its position as a strategic partner of major sporting events organized under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
The ceremony also presented the ambitious strategy launched by Royal Air Maroc to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market, improve bilateral connectivity and offer Egyptian and African supporters optimal travel conditions to the Moroccan host cities of the tournament. A detailed presentation outlined the company’s new orientations, built around the growing demands of international transport, especially during major continental sporting events.
In his address, Royal Air Maroc’s regional director in Egypt, Mustapha Stachi, recalled that this initiative is part of the company’s broader modernization, expansion and quality improvement efforts. He reaffirmed the strategic role of Royal Air Maroc in promoting Morocco’s image, noting that the Cairo station is an essential platform for strengthening human, tourism and economic exchanges between Morocco, Egypt and the entire continent.
The airline also presented its dedicated offers designed to facilitate supporters’ travel to Moroccan stadiums and to accompany the remarkable enthusiasm surrounding this historic edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the first hosted by Morocco since 1988.
With the participation of Hassan Benbrahim, head of sales for the Maghreb, Middle East and Asia region, Royal Air Maroc honored a group of Egyptian travel agencies that distinguished themselves through their commercial performance. This institutional recognition reflects the central role of these partners in the airline’s expansion strategy and in consolidating Morocco’s presence in African and Middle Eastern markets.
