This initiative, jointly organized by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Social Works of National Security staff and one of the international sponsors of AFCON 2025, gave the young guests the opportunity to discover up close the daily life of the Moroccan internationals. They attended a training session, shared special moments of exchange with the players, and marked the visit with autographs and symbolic gifts offered by members of the national team.
This is not a first during this continental competition being hosted by Morocco. During the opening match of AFCON 2025 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, several children from the National Security family had already been honored by accompanying the Moroccan and Comorian players as they walked onto the pitch.
Through this initiative, the Federation and the national team sought to pay tribute to the considerable efforts made by the National Security services, which are fully mobilized to ensure the security of all events related to the Africa Cup of Nations. Their constant commitment helps guarantee a calm and secure environment for both the participating teams and the thousands of supporters who have come from across the African continent.
This strong gesture by the Lions of the Atlas once again reflects the values of solidarity, recognition, and civic responsibility that accompany the Moroccan national team far beyond the football pitch.
