On Friday, January 16, two delegations of Ivorian and Cameroonian journalists paid a courtesy visit, at the invitation of Ahmed Talal, director of Le7tv media, to his home in Casablanca. The warm gathering was highlighted by a traditional Moroccan lunch offered in a spirit of friendship, within the framework of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, which Morocco is hosting with great success.
The Ivorian delegation, mainly composed of journalists from Nouvelle Chaîne Ivoirienne (NCI), included in particular Guillaume Ahoutou, Eliane Tapé, Armel Yao, Yves Boris Veh and Hervé Kiesse. Alongside them, Cameroonian journalists from MSi TV (Media Sport Infos TV), including Hervé Moukoury, Hervé Kemgne, Jean Charles Doumbe Kingue, William Meli, Eric Michel and Raoul Watat, also took part in this moment of fraternal exchange, illustrating the pan-African spirit that defines this exceptional CAN.
Beyond the protocol aspect, the meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen human and professional ties between African journalists, to exchange views on football, the role of the media in bringing peoples closer together, and to highlight Moroccan hospitality, which has been unanimously praised throughout the competition.
In a relaxed atmosphere marked by mutual respect, the discussions reflected the success of CAN 2025, not only on a sporting and organisational level, but also as a space for dialogue, conviviality and the celebration of African unity.
Through this gesture of welcome and generosity, Ahmed Talal and Le7tv once again illustrated the values of sharing, openness and fraternity that define Morocco and embody the very soul of African football. A sincere and memorable moment, mirroring a CAN 2025 that has already entered history.
