On the same day, the Sovereign, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, presided over the official ceremony marking the presentation and launch of a major project: the construction in Nouaceur of a factory specializing in the manufacture of landing gear. This initiative further consolidates the Kingdom’s position as a competitive industrial platform and a strategic partner integrated into global value chains.
The King also oversaw the signing of the memorandum of understanding governing the establishment of this industrial unit. The document was signed by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Karim Zidane, and Ross McInnes, representing the Safran Group.
