Morocco Inaugurates National Pavilion at the Paris International Agricultural Show

Held under the theme “Morocco, Centuries of Flavors,” the Moroccan pavilion showcases the richness of the Kingdom’s terroir through the participation of 30 producer groups representing 46 cooperatives and more than 740 small farmers from across the country, including 61 percent rural women.

Spanning an area of 300 square meters, the pavilion offers visitors a sensory journey through the diversity of Moroccan local products. Among the highlights are argan products, Taliouine saffron, Majhoul dates, olive oil, carob, aromatic and medicinal plants, as well as a variety of spices.

Speaking to the press, El Bouari noted that Morocco is taking part in the show for the thirteenth consecutive year, describing the event as a major international platform for promoting Moroccan agriculture and local products.

He emphasized that the Kingdom’s participation reflects the commitment of Moroccan farmers and cooperatives working to enhance and promote national products. The ministry, he added, supports these cooperatives by helping improve product quality, strengthening marketing efforts and expanding their presence in international markets.

For his part, the Director General of the Agricultural Development Agency, Mehdi Rifi, said that all regions of the Kingdom are represented at the event, highlighting the diversity and quality of Moroccan products on display.

He also noted that the Moroccan pavilion has already attracted a large number of visitors, many of whom have shown strong interest in Moroccan products, particularly during the sacred month of Ramadan.

According to Rifi, the show provides Moroccan cooperatives with an opportunity to showcase their products to an international audience, develop partnerships with operators in France and across Europe, and explore export opportunities toward the European market.

Organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and led by the Agricultural Development Agency, Morocco’s participation aims to further expand international commercial outlets for Moroccan terroir products.

The initiative also serves as a key driver for wealth creation and income generation, particularly for small farmers, in line with the objectives of the “Generation Green 2020–2030” strategy, which seeks to foster a new agricultural middle class and promote Moroccan products on the global stage.

The Paris International Agricultural Show is the largest agricultural event in France and one of the most important global gatherings dedicated to agriculture and food. It offers a major platform for showcasing local products, livestock, animal genetics and agricultural innovation.

Each year, the event brings together consumers, decision-makers, industry professionals and researchers. In 2025, the show welcomed more than 600,000 visitors, confirming its international influence and appeal.
