Exceptional Promotion Granted to Four Police Officers Who Died in Road Accident Near Sidi Ifni

According to a statement issued by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the decision includes the administrative and financial effects of the promotion, which will benefit the victims’ beneficiaries.

The statement also indicated that police officers who were seriously injured in the same accident will receive an exceptional step promotion, in accordance with the provisions of the DGSN’s statute governing police personnel.

In addition, the Director General of National Security has decided to directly recruit two widows of the deceased officers into the ranks of the National Security services, provided they meet the conditions and criteria required to access the police profession, in line with the relevant regulatory and administrative provisions.

On the social front, the beneficiaries of the victims, who have already received various forms of moral and material support, will also have access to all periodic initiatives dedicated to widows and orphans of National Security personnel.

These exceptional administrative measures and additional social services complement the initial initiatives ordered by the Director General of National Security immediately after the accident. These included ensuring that all injured officers receive the necessary medical care with full coverage of treatment costs, as well as offering condolences to the families of the victims and providing them with the necessary support.

The statement concluded that these professional measures and social initiatives reflect the DGSN’s commitment to providing social and financial support, as well as moral assistance, to all members of the National Security family in all circumstances. It also stressed that police officers responsible for protecting citizens and their property, along with their families, benefit from constant protection and attention.
