Israel Announces Destruction of Aircraft Used by Iran’s Supreme Leader

In a statement released by the Israel Defense Forces, the aircraft was said to be primarily used for the travel of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as for senior regime officials and several officers of the Iranian armed forces. The plane was also reportedly used for missions related to strategic coordination with countries allied with Tehran, as well as for the acquisition of military equipment.

The Israeli army stated that this operation is part of a series of actions aimed at weakening the logistical and operational capabilities of the Iranian regime. According to the military, the destruction of the aircraft represents a new setback for Iran’s command structures and coordination capabilities, particularly in terms of strategic mobility and regional military cooperation.

Israeli officials also indicated that operations would continue against infrastructure and equipment considered to support Iranian military activities. The stated objective is to neutralize the regime’s ability to reinforce and reorganize forces linked to Tehran.
