During this ceremony, which took place at the Unity Stadium of the La Concorde Sports Complex in Kintélé, in the presence of heads of State and foreign delegations, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Brazzaville, as well as several other dignitaries, Sassou N’Guesso took the oath of office as President of the Republic of the Congo for a new term.
On this occasion, Talbi El Alami conveyed to the Congolese President the congratulations and greetings of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as well as the Sovereign’s constant commitment to work jointly with Sassou N’Guesso to strengthen Moroccan-Congolese cooperation within the framework of a multidimensional partnership, in favor of shared African prosperity.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI had sent a message of congratulations to Sassou N’Guesso on the occasion of his re-election as President of his country.
In this message, the Sovereign expressed his wish for the deep fraternal ties uniting the two peoples to be further strengthened.
