Stopover of a French Multi-Mission Military Frigate in Tangier
The Port of Tangier hosted the stopover of a multi-mission frigate (FREMM) of the French Navy, as part of the maritime cooperation and partnership relations between Morocco and France.

This stopover provided a valuable opportunity for meetings and exchanges between Moroccan authorities and the French crew, promoting dialogue, the sharing of expertise, and the strengthening of mutual trust. Interactions also took place with the crew of the Moroccan FREMM Mohammed VI, illustrating the convergence of visions and know-how between the two navies.
Beyond its protocol dimension, this visit is part of a broader dynamic aimed at preparing for future operational interactions, particularly in the areas of maritime security, interoperability, and naval cooperation in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
This stopover reflects the strength of relations between Morocco and France and their shared determination to enhance military and maritime cooperation in the service of regional stability.
