Royal Armed Forces foil Polisario attempt at terrorist infiltration
While some seek to exploit internal tensions to sow discord in Morocco, the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) once again demonstrated that they remain the nation’s impenetrable safeguard. Their vigilance made it possible to thwart a criminal operation allegedly orchestrated by the Algerian secret services and carried out by Polisario mercenaries.
According to authorized military sources, an armed Polisario group attempted to cross the Mauritanian border in 4×4 vehicles heavily equipped with weapons. This perfidious maneuver was said to be part of a hybrid warfare campaign by Algiers aimed at stoking instability in Morocco.
The FAR’s technological assets detected these suspicious movements immediately. In record time, a specialized unit intervened to destroy four armed vehicles and put an end to the incursion. The terrorists’ plan was reduced to ashes before it could threaten the national territory.
This military success confirms that Morocco will never allow any attempt of aggression to prosper. Its borders are inviolable, and anyone who dares challenge them will face the same fate.
This operation, which adds to a series of bitter defeats for the Polisario, sends a direct warning to the Algerian regime: any instrumentalization of its separatist proxies will be met with immediate and severe sanction by Moroccan forces. The message is unequivocal: Morocco is strong, its borders are sacred, and any provocation orchestrated from Algiers will be broken with equal firmness.
