Oscars 2026: Full Winners List from the 98th Academy Awards
The 2026 Oscars have delivered their verdict. The iconic Hollywood ceremony, held for the 98th time since 1929, took place on Sunday, March 15 in Los Angeles, honoring the artists and films that defined 2025. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the prestigious night crowned Une bataille après l’autre by Paul Thomas Anderson, which walked away with six awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. The filmmaker secured two statuettes, marking a major milestone after 14 previous nominations without a win.
Sinners by Ryan Coogler emerged as another major winner of the evening. Its lead actor, Michael B. Jordan, caused a surprise by beating Timothée Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio to win Best Actor. The horror film also took home awards for Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Cinematography. Jessie Buckley earned Hamnet its only award of the night, winning Best Actress. Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro claimed three awards, including Best Costume Design. Among the night’s disappointments, Marty Supreme by Josh Safdie, despite nine nominations and strong commercial and critical success, left empty-handed.
