New Delhi: Second Ministerial Meeting of the India–Arab Countries Cooperation Forum Highlights the Efforts of the Al-Qods Committee Chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI
The second Ministerial Meeting of the India–Arab Countries Cooperation Forum, held on Saturday in New Delhi, highlighted the sustained efforts of the Al-Qods Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, in supporting the Palestinian cause.

In the “New Delhi Declaration” adopted at the conclusion of the meeting, Arab and Indian ministers also underscored the actions of the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, which operates under the Committee.
This position reflects the recognition by both sides of the central role of the Al-Qods Committee and the credibility of the initiatives led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in favor of a lasting settlement of the Palestinian issue, based on the two-State solution, capable of contributing to the consolidation of regional peace and stability.
This renewed international recognition also reflects the major role played by the Al-Qods Committee in preserving the historical and religious identity of the Holy City. It likewise highlights the concrete actions carried out by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency in support of the resilience of the Maqdessi population, through the implementation of social and humanitarian programs.
Co-chaired by India and the United Arab Emirates, the current Chair of the League of Arab States, the second Ministerial Meeting was held after a ten-year interruption, the first edition having taken place in 2016 in Bahrain. It represents the highest institutional mechanism for steering the Indo-Arab partnership, established in March 2002 through a memorandum of understanding between India and the League of Arab States.
Chaired by the Ambassador of His Majesty the King to Egypt and Permanent Representative of Morocco to the League of Arab States, Mohamed Ait Ouali, the Moroccan delegation notably included the Ambassador of His Majesty the King to New Delhi, Mohamed Maliki, and the Director of Asian and Oceanian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Omar Kadiri.
