Embassy of Morocco in Spain: Serving Moroccan citizens and safeguarding their interests is an absolute priority
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Spain and all the Consulates General have reaffirmed that serving Moroccan citizens and safeguarding their interests constitutes an absolute priority of their action.

In this context, the central services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad held, on Wednesday, a coordination meeting by videoconference with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Madrid and the twelve Consulates General accredited throughout Spanish territory.
This meeting is part of the ongoing interaction with the consular network, with a view to ensuring rigorous monitoring of the services provided to members of the Moroccan community residing abroad and improving their quality.
At the end of the meeting, several measures were decided, notably the extension of working hours and public reception until 6:00 p.m. instead of 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, as well as the organization of duty services on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, in order to allow all individuals with appointments to complete their procedures under the best conditions.
It was also decided to maintain continuous mobilization of consular staff, who are called upon to remain on permanent alert to respond to citizens’ needs.
In this regard, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Spain and the Consulates General renew their commitment to continue their efforts to ensure the effectiveness of consular services and the protection of citizens’ rights, in full compliance with the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at meeting the needs of Moroccans residing abroad and defending their interests.
