Ordinary General Assembly of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation Held in Rabat
Chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation (FRMG) held its Ordinary General Assembly on Tuesday in Rabat, covering the period from January 2024 to August 2025, in the presence of representatives of affiliated clubs and institutional partners.

Participants reviewed the minutes of the 2024 General Assembly and examined and approved the moral and financial report, the auditors’ report, the structuring actions, and the action plan for the period from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.
The Assembly also decided to renew the auditors for the audit of the 2026 financial year and to revise the annual license fee for 2026, while maintaining the amount of the affiliation fee for associations.
At the heart of the work presented during the General Assembly was the national reform of the caddie profession, which constitutes a central focus and is built around the following pillars: affirming the dignity and recognition of the caddie profession within Moroccan clubs; structuring the activity within a national framework with harmonized rules; generalizing social coverage for caddies in partnership with the competent bodies; and developing training and awareness programs to support the evolution of the profession.
The FRMG also presented the state of progress of the national study on structuring the caddie profession in Morocco, as well as the principles of the regulatory framework submitted to the members of the Assembly.
This reform was confirmed as a major pillar of federal policy, placing caddies at the heart of golf courses and of the playing experience in Morocco.
The moral report adopted by the General Assembly reflects a period marked by the consolidation of federal projects around several axes, namely governance and modernization, focusing on the continued modernization of federal governance.
It also highlights the structuring of federal programs, regionalization, and the development of the sport, through the structuring and regionalization work carried out in recent years, which continues to bear fruit with the establishment of a clear pathway for athletes from their first steps to the elite level, supported by a national network of federal schools, comprehensive youth programs, and strengthened support toward the national teams.
On the environmental front, the Assembly took note of the implementation of a national environmental charter for Moroccan golf courses and the labeling process, in line with Morocco’s recent recognition by IAGTO as Africa’s best golf destination.
From a sporting perspective, the moral report highlights collective and individual results confirming the progress of Moroccan golf on the Arab, African, and international stages.
In this regard, the Assembly notably welcomed the presence of Ines Laklalech at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as Morocco’s flag bearer; the career of Adam Bresnu, a figure of the new generation, NJCAA number one, winner of the Jack Nicklaus Award and the Gary Player Award, and author of a sixth place at the PIF Saudi International, a flagship Asian Tour event, illustrating the level reached by young Moroccan players on the international stage; the victory of the national team at the 2025 Pan Arab Men and Seniors Championship at Riyadh Golf Club, with an individual title and a podium finish; and the growing presence of Moroccan golfers on several international circuits, all of which reflect the continued progress of Moroccan elite golf and the impact of federal programs.
At the close of the 2025 General Assembly, members reaffirmed their confidence in and support for the action of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation under the presidency of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid.
Together with clubs and partners, the FRMG will continue its commitment to a structured, values driven game of golf, serving youth, the environment, the recognition of all stakeholders, and the international standing of Morocco on the regional and global golfing stage.
