Abdellatif Hammouchi Hosts a Dinner in Honor of Representatives of Countries and International and Regional Organizations Participating in the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization Interpol

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr Abdellatif Hammouchi, hosted on Wednesday, November 26, a dinner in honor of the representatives of countries, as well as international and regional organizations participating in the work of the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization Interpol, held in Marrakech from November 24 to 27, 2025.

This dinner was organized at the historic El Badiâ Palace, in an atmosphere reflecting Moroccan hospitality and the authenticity of the location, giving the event a special character and allowing guests to immerse themselves in the richness of Morocco’s cultural and artistic heritage.

Participating in this evening were Mr Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, the President of Interpol, Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, the Secretary General of the organization, Mr Valdecy Urquiza, as well as all members of Interpol’s Executive Committee, in addition to Dr Mohammed Ben Ali Koman, Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

On the Moroccan side, those present included Mr Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior, Mr Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Mr Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, General Corps Commander Mohammed Haramou, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Mr Mohammed Yassine Mansouri, Director General of Studies and Documentation, as well as Mr Khattib El Hebil, Wali of the Marrakech-Safi region.

More than 1,200 delegates from countries and international organizations present at Interpol’s work also attended the dinner and the musical and cultural performances accompanying it, including the Director General of the Spanish National Police, Mr Francisco Pardo Piqueras, as well as ministers of the interior and senior police and security officials from Interpol member states.

The evening was animated by a variety of artistic performances, delivered by 16 folkloric troupes representing all musical expressions of Morocco, from the north to the south of the Kingdom, showcasing the richness and cultural diversity of the country.
