Rabat: Opening of the 3rd Edition of the National Industry Day
The third edition of the National Industry Day (JNI), held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, opened on Monday in Rabat under the theme “Made in Morocco: A Guarantee of Quality, Competitiveness, and a Driver of Integrated Territorial Development.”
The opening ceremony, jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), was chaired by Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, and the President of the CGEM, Chakib Alj.
This year’s JNI, which runs until November 4, brings together several institutional, economic, and industrial stakeholders from across the Kingdom, with the aim of making “Made in Morocco” a strategic lever for industrial and territorial development.
The event highlights the essential role of national production in enhancing Morocco’s industrial platform, strengthening its position in high value-added sectors, and integrating local territories into a broader dynamic of sustainable development.
The program features five major panels addressing key issues for national industry, including the role of “Made in Morocco” in boosting industrial attractiveness, its impact on territorial development, innovation and talent training, economic intelligence as a competitiveness driver, and large-scale structural projects shaping a new industrial dynamic.
On the sidelines of the event, a “Made in Morocco” exhibition showcases the excellence of Moroccan craftsmanship through a display of high value-added products that embody innovation and the growing sophistication of the national industrial fabric.
