Motorsport: Fez Launches the 2025 Rallye du Maroc, a Key Stage of the World Championship
Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the 2025 Rallye du Maroc will take place from October 10 to 17, promising to be an exceptional edition that marks another milestone in the international rise of Moroccan motorsport.

For one thrilling week, Fez, the spiritual capital of the Kingdom, will transform into a global hub for speed and adventure. This year’s route will lead competitors all the way to Erfoud, crossing a breathtaking variety of landscapes — from rugged mountains to rolling dunes and vast desert plains. These are the very terrains that have built the legend of the Moroccan rally, making it one of the toughest events in the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC).
On the starting line, some of the biggest names in the discipline will take on Morocco’s demanding trails: Qatari champion Nasser Al-Attiyah, Saudi driver Yazeed Al-Rajhi, Spanish veteran Carlos Sainz, and French icon Stéphane Peterhansel, a true legend of rally-raid racing.
Morocco will also be proudly represented by several national drivers whose determination and talent reflect the growing strength of the country’s motorsport scene. Their commitment embodies the passion, discipline, and professionalism that define the new generation of Moroccan champions.
As the first African rally-raid to bring together all categories — cars, bikes, quads, SSVs, and trucks — the Rallye du Maroc stands as more than just a competition. It is a showcase of Moroccan expertise, a driver of tourism and media exposure, and a celebration of the universal values of sport: self-improvement, teamwork, and solidarity among nations.
The 2025 edition reaffirms Morocco’s position as a land of sporting excellence and international organization, where the spirit of the desert meets the discipline of world-class competition.
