The Algerian military junta is hiding the drying up of gas and oil wells !

It is a well-kept secret that the Algerian military junta and its sham “Generals” are desperately trying to hide: Algeria is on the verge of facing a major economic catastrophe by 2030. Several alarming reports by international experts reveal that Algeria’s gas and oil wells, long the main sources of the country’s revenue, are about to run dry. A dreadful truth that the Algerian regime is attempting to conceal, choosing instead to maintain a deceptive “status quo” that endangers the future of the entire nation.

According to these reports, some of which were published in 2020 by the French think tank “The Shift Project,” Algeria’s oil and gas production has been in freefall for several years. Already in decline since 2007, with a reduction of 23.6% between 2007 and 2019, this trend is dangerously accelerating today. The reports warn that by 2030, Algeria will no longer be able to sustain itself through oil and gas exports, effectively ending its status as a hydrocarbon-exporting country.

The situation is critical, even catastrophic: “The decline in Algerian oil and gas production will lead to unprecedented political and social instability,” the reports highlight. This is not just a simple production drop but a steep decline that threatens to plunge the country into chaos.

Yet, in the face of this imminent crisis, the deafening silence from the Algerian authorities is damning. Instead of taking steps to anticipate the collapse, the regime clings desperately to illusions, hoping that time will solve the problem. The reality is quite different: without an urgent diversification of its economy, Algeria is heading straight for social and economic implosion.

The reports also shed light on the toxic dependency of the Algerian regime on oil revenues. The “Generals,” who have held power for decades, have failed to build a sustainable and resilient economy. The Algerian population, already facing precarious living conditions, is largely dependent on this rapidly evaporating oil and gas revenue. The inaction of the leaders is nothing short of a betrayal of future generations.

It is crucial to emphasize that this looming disaster is not just an economic issue. The military regime, which has long used oil revenues to maintain a semblance of stability and “social peace,” risks losing its grip on the country. Anger is already brewing among a young and numerous population, eager for change. If the regime continues in its blindness, Algeria could face an unprecedented popular uprising.

By continuing to hide this truth from their people, the “Generals” are not only endangering the future of the country but also its survival. The time has come for Algeria to turn the page on oil and gas. Unfortunately, the current leaders seem unable to grasp the magnitude of the danger. The cost of this inaction may be paid dearly by millions of Algerians, victims of the irresponsibility of their leaders.

The international community must also take note of this explosive situation. Algeria risks plunging into chaos if nothing is done. The concealment and lies can no longer continue: The ALGERIAN PEOPLE must become aware of the looming catastrophe and act before it is too late.
