Rabat: ISJC and Le7tv Delegation Pays a Courtesy Visit to the Iraqi Embassy to Meet and Congratulate H.E. Hayder Shiya Albarrak, the New Ambassador of Iraq to the Kingdom

A joint delegation from the Higher Institute of Journalism and Communication (ISJC) and the Casablanca-based media outlet Le7tv paid a courtesy visit this Wednesday, January 8, in Rabat, to the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Kingdom of Morocco.

The delegation, composed of Mr. Belkacem Sahli and Mr. Ahmed Talal, was warmly welcomed at the headquarters of the Iraqi diplomatic mission during a meeting dedicated to introductions and congratulations addressed to His Excellency Mr. Hayder Shiya Albarrak, recently appointed Ambassador of Iraq to Morocco.

This visit took place in a spirit of mutual respect, dialogue, and the strengthening of the historic and fraternal ties that unite Morocco and Iraq. The exchanges were marked by great cordiality and a particularly distinguished reception, reflecting the depth of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

On this occasion, the representatives of ISJC and Le7tv expressed their sincere congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Hayder Shiya Albarrak and conveyed their best wishes for every success in the fulfillment of his diplomatic mission in Morocco. Discussions also highlighted the importance of the role of media and communication in bringing Arab peoples closer together and promoting cooperation based on understanding and mutual respect.

It is worth recalling that Iraq holds a special place in the diplomatic history of the Kingdom, as the first Arab embassy to open in Morocco after independence was that of Iraq—a highly symbolic fact that testifies to the strength and longevity of the relations between the two nations.

This courtesy visit, marked by esteem and consideration, illustrates the shared desire to strengthen bridges between media institutions and diplomatic representations, in the service of constructive dialogue and lasting Arab solidarity.
