FIFA Rankings: Morocco Reclaims 11th Place Worldwide

The Atlas Lions have climbed one spot to reclaim 11th place in the latest FIFA Men’s World Ranking, published Wednesday by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

With two recent victories, Morocco now has a total of 1713.12 points, gaining 3.01 points compared to the October ranking, benefiting from Italy’s drop (now 12th), as the Azzurri fell two positions.

Morocco is currently just behind Croatia (10th, +1) with 1716.88 points, Germany (9th, +1) with 1724.15 points, and Belgium (8th).

At the top of the table, the leading trio remains unchanged: Spain continues in first place, followed by Argentina in second and France in third, with England maintaining fourth place.

Brazil made progress, gaining two spots to reach 5th, ahead of Portugal (6th, -1) and the Netherlands (7th, -1).

On the African level, Morocco remains the continent’s leader, followed by Senegal (19th worldwide, -1). Egypt ranks third (34th, -2), followed by Algeria (35th).

Further down the ranking, the most notable rises include Malta (161st), which climbed five positions, while the Republic of Ireland (59th) collected the highest increase in points (+34.86). El Salvador (100th) registered the sharpest drop with a fall of six positions, while Denmark (21st) recorded the largest loss of points (-24.27).
