Nasser Bourita receives African Union Commissioner ahead of the 5th edition of the electoral observers training cycle

Ahead of the launch of the fifth edition of the specialized training cycle for African electoral observers, Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita held talks on Monday, April 20 in Rabat with Bankole Adeoye, African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security.

The meeting comes within the framework of the strategic partnership between Morocco and the African Union in promoting democratic governance and strengthening peace across the continent. Discussions focused on reinforcing cooperation in the field of election observation, as well as ways to support democratic processes in Africa through specialized training and the sharing of expertise.

The training cycle, which has become a key continental gathering, aims to equip African observers with advanced technical and analytical skills, thereby helping ensure the transparency and credibility of elections.

Through this initiative, Morocco once again reaffirms its steady commitment to institutional stability and democratic development in Africa.
