15th Morocco–Senegal Joint Commission: Exemplary Cooperation Marked by the Signing of 17 Major Agreements

The work of the 15th Morocco–Senegal Joint Commission for Cooperation was successfully concluded on Monday, January 26, in Rabat, with the signing of 17 legal instruments, a joint communiqué, and the official minutes of the meeting, marking a decisive new stage in the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Held under the co-chairmanship of the Head of the Moroccan Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Ousmane Sonko, this session confirmed the strength and depth of the historic relations linking Rabat and Dakar, founded on trust, political consultation, and active cooperation.

Structuring agreements in the service of shared development

The 17 legal instruments signed cover a wide range of strategic sectors, reflecting the determination of both States to strengthen multidimensional, pragmatic cooperation oriented toward the future. These agreements notably concern economic, social, institutional, academic, and technical fields, and aim to give new momentum to joint projects for the direct benefit of both peoples.

The signing of the joint communiqué, for its part, formalizes a full convergence of views on major issues of common interest at the bilateral, regional, and continental levels, while the official minutes record the commitments made and the follow-up mechanisms intended to ensure the effective implementation of the decisions adopted.
