Nasser Bourita Receives the New Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to Rabat
Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, today received Diego Fernando Morejon Pazmino, who presented him with copies of his Letters of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ecuador to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
This meeting falls within the framework of the ongoing strengthening of relations between Morocco and Ecuador. It should be recalled that on July 4, Mr. Bourita and Ms. Gabriela Sommerfeld, Ecuador’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, officially inaugurated the Embassy of Ecuador in Rabat.
On that occasion, Mr. Bourita welcomed Quito’s historic decision of October 22, 2024, to end all relations with the so-called “rasd” and to further consolidate its partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco.
This new stage confirms the strength of diplomatic ties and paves the way for enhanced cooperation between the two countries.
