Gianni Infantino Praises Morocco’s Excellence in Organizing CAN 2025
The President of the International Federation of Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, expressed his admiration for the remarkable quality of the organization of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, considering that this edition clearly illustrates Morocco’s ability to host the largest international sporting competitions.
These statements were made on the sidelines of the FIFA president’s participation in the World Sports Summit, held in Dubai. On this occasion, Gianni Infantino highlighted the exemplary professionalism shown by the Kingdom as host country of Africa’s most prestigious continental competition.
The FIFA president recalled that the Africa Cup of Nations ranks among the finest continental competitions in the world, praising Morocco as an organizing country that offers a positive, modern and ambitious image of African football.
Infantino also highlighted the quality of Moroccan sports infrastructure, stressing that the stadiums meet the highest international standards. He finally expressed his enthusiasm about following the decisive stages of the competition, convinced that CAN 2025 will remain a benchmark in terms of organization.
