U.S. Ambassador Duke Buchan III praised, on Friday, April 3, the holding of a productive meeting with the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, focused on key issues such as water resource management, infrastructure development, and partnership prospects between Morocco and the United States.

In a statement, the U.S. Embassy highlighted the quality of the discussions and the convergence of views between the two sides, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in strategic sectors with strong economic and social impact.
The Embassy also recalled the historical depth of Morocco–U.S. relations, noting that the United States proudly celebrates 250 years of friendship with the Kingdom. It described this relationship as solid and lasting, built on concrete results and a shared commitment to promoting common prosperity.
This meeting is part of a broader dynamic aimed at consolidating Morocco’s international partnerships, particularly with the United States, around structuring projects designed to address challenges related to water and infrastructure, while opening new opportunities for investment and economic cooperation.
