FIFA President Congratulates Morocco on 2025 FIFA Arab Cup Glory Following Spectacular Final
Doha - The President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, congratulated Morocco on the occasion of its triumph in the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup, following its spectacular 3-2 victory over the Jordanian national team in the final played at Lusail Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Infantino opened a post on his official Instagram account with the slogan of Moroccan supporters, “Dima Maghrib,” extending his congratulations to Morocco on its crowning achievement in this “remarkable” edition of the Arab Cup held in Qatar, after a “spectacular final and an exceptional atmosphere” witnessed by around 85,000 spectators in the stands of Lusail Stadium.
The FIFA President also expressed his admiration for Moroccan fans, who set the stadium alight with their support and jubilant celebrations following the coronation of the Atlas Lions, while also commending the strong performance displayed by the Jordanian team in the final of the Arab tournament.
Moreover, Infantino highlighted the distinguished official atmosphere surrounding the final, expressing his gratitude to the State of Qatar for the excellent organization of the competition, which provided a unique opportunity for Arab countries to come together and for supporters to celebrate.
