The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, will preside this Wednesday, January 29, in Brussels, over the Moroccan delegation taking part in the work of the Morocco–European Union Association Council. This meeting comes at a decisive phase in the partnership between the Kingdom and the EU, marked by a shared desire to consolidate and broaden the axes of bilateral cooperation.

This session of the Association Council takes place in a changing regional and international context, in which Morocco and the European Union are seeking to adapt their partnership to new economic, geopolitical and climate challenges. Discussions will focus in particular on strengthening economic cooperation, developing trade exchanges, as well as deepening technical and cultural partnerships.
Morocco’s participation in this high-level meeting reflects the strategic importance that the Kingdom attaches to its relations with the European Union, its main economic and trade partner.
