Tata: Over 3,000 People Benefited from a Multidisciplinary Medical Caravan
More than 3,000 people received medical services through a multidisciplinary caravan organized from October 24 to 26 in the province of Tata.


As part of efforts to improve access to healthcare, the caravan covered various specialties, including gastroenterology, diabetes, endocrinology, pediatrics, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as general medicine, ophthalmology, and cardiology.
Speaking to MAP, Habib Aznak, delegate of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Tata, indicated that this solidarity initiative aims to bring healthcare services closer to rural and isolated populations.
The governor of Tata province, Mohamed Bari, visited several health centers hosting the caravan to assess the reception conditions for beneficiaries and the medical services provided. On this occasion, Mr. Bari praised the efforts of medical, paramedical, and volunteer staff who contributed to the success of this humanitarian operation.
This medical caravan is part of a program designed to support healthcare and social services while promoting solidarity and mutual aid, in line with the objectives of the National Human Development Initiative (INDH), which seeks to improve living conditions in rural and remote areas.
The initiative is organized by the regional INDH committee of Souss-Massa, the Regional Council of Souss-Massa, the provincial human development committee of Tata, the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, and the Moroccan Medical Solidarity Association.
