Ksar El Kébir: The DGSN Deploys Two Mobile Units to Supply Affected Populations
The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) is actively contributing to the efforts of public authorities through the deployment of two mobile units dedicated to supplying residents of the city of Ksar El Kébir, affected by the rising waters of the Loukkos river, which caused flooding in several neighborhoods.

In addition to the security role carried out by police officers with professionalism, seriousness, and a strong sense of responsibility, in coordination with local authorities and other stakeholders, the DGSN has mobilized two mobile bread production units to support supply efforts and meet the urgent needs of the population under these exceptional climatic conditions.
In this regard, Divisional Commissioner Mohammed Ait Soudane, in charge of logistics operations at the DGSN, said that two DGSN-affiliated mobile bakery units were urgently deployed to supply and support the local population of Ksar El Kébir during this difficult period marked by heavy rainfall and rising water levels.
In a statement to MAP, Mr. Ait Soudane specified that the two units are currently producing the equivalent of 6,000 units of bread per day, adding that “production capacity can be increased to up to 10,000 units, depending on the needs of the population of Ksar El Kébir”.
The security official emphasized that these two units can be supported by other units and logistics teams mobilized at the central level, ready to provide assistance depending on how the situation in the city evolves.
He recalled that the operation to produce, supply, and distribute bread is carried out in close coordination with local authorities and other security services, in order to ensure the supply of foodstuffs to citizens under the best conditions and as quickly as possible.
This operation is indeed supervised by DGSN specialists in sanitary safety, in order to guarantee the highest quality standards during bread production, which covers a significant portion of residents’ needs, particularly in this exceptional context marked by the preventive closure of many bakeries and service facilities, with the aim of preserving citizens’ safety.
