Burkina Faso’s FM Praises Royal Initiatives, Expresses Admiration for HM the King’s Leadership & Strong Commitment to Peace, Stability, and Development in Africa
Ouagadougou - Burkina Faso’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, Karamoko Jean-Marie Traoré, on Wednesday in Ouagadougou, praised the Royal Initiatives and expressed his admiration for the leadership and strong commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in favor of peace, stability, and development in Africa.

In this context, Traoré hailed Morocco’s commendable contribution to promoting peace and development on the African continent in general, and in the Sahel region in particular. He recognized the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and his visionary approach aimed at consolidating South-South cooperation and solidarity to address challenges and promote regional initiatives, making Morocco a strategic partner for African countries in matters of peace, security, and sustainable development.
He also welcomed the enlightened initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI within the framework of the African Atlantic States process, which seeks to strengthen cooperation by making the African Atlantic space a pragmatic and timely geostrategic framework for intra-African collaboration.
Traoré further highly praised the Royal Audience granted to him, alongside his counterparts from Mali and Niger, during which the foreign ministers of the Sahel States Alliance particularly commended His Majesty the King’s initiative, may God assist Him, to facilitate the Sahel countries’ access to the Atlantic, reaffirming their full support and commitment to accelerate its implementation.
