The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, His Excellency Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, received Mr. Abdelkader Amara, President of Morocco’s Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) and President of the Union of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions of Africa (UCESA).

The meeting took place within the framework of strengthening institutional cooperation among African councils.

On this occasion, President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo praised Morocco’s pioneering role, describing it as a constructive and inspiring model in the structural transformation of African economies in support of sustainable and inclusive development.

The Head of State also commended Morocco’s CESE for its active contribution to promoting regional integration and for supporting the membership of Equatorial Guinea’s National Council for Economic and Social Development within the Union of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions of Africa.

President Obiang further highlighted the promising prospects for cooperation between the two institutions, aimed at supporting effective public policies that address common challenges, particularly in economic diversification and youth employment.
