Mohamed Dkhissi, Vice-President of Interpol for Africa and Central Director of the Judicial Police at the DGSN: “Moroccans have every right to be proud of the General Directorate of National Security”

During the 93rd General Assembly of Interpol, Morocco once again reaffirmed its security leadership and its key role in international police cooperation. Mohamed Dkhissi, Vice-President of Interpol for Africa and Central Director of the Judicial Police at the DGSN, delivered a strong message marked by national pride and confidence in the Kingdom’s institutions.

With deep conviction, he stated that “Moroccans have every right to be proud of the General Directorate of National Security”, an institution he described as a pillar of stability, a guarantor of security and a force dedicated entirely to serving citizens. He praised the enlightened vision of the Kingdom, which advances “steadily” on the path of development, continuously strengthening its modern and human security model.

Dkhissi paid tribute to the women and men of the national security services, true guardians of the country, stressing that they work tirelessly, 24 hours a day, including weekends and public holidays, driven by an exemplary sense of national duty.

“It is a sacred mission before being a profession.”

He reiterated that the top priority remains the protection of citizens, the defense of their dignity and the safeguarding of their rights, freedoms and property. While acknowledging that crime is “an ancient and universal phenomenon”, he emphasized that Morocco today possesses highly effective capabilities to reduce its impact and ensure a safe and stable environment.

This historic edition of Interpol’s General Assembly, held in Marrakech with the participation of delegations from 196 member states, once again reinforces the Kingdom’s position as a major actor in international security under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
