Parliamentary Cooperation Brings Morocco and Chad Closer
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, held talks on Friday in Rabat with the President of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Chad, Jean-Bernard Badari, and the delegation accompanying him, during a working visit to the Kingdom.

According to a statement from the House of Representatives, “the discussions between the two sides focused on the major projects and institutional reforms undertaken by Morocco under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as well as on relations between the two friendly countries, particularly at the parliamentary level, both bilaterally and multilaterally.”
On this occasion, Talbi Alami presented Morocco’s parliamentary experience accumulated over more than sixty years, along with the relations linking the House of Representatives to constitutional institutions, particularly the Constitutional Court.
For his part, Badari outlined the composition and mandates of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Chad, as well as its relations with other branches of power, including the legislative authority.
The meeting was attended in particular by the Ambassador of the Republic of Chad to Morocco, Hassan Adoum Bakhit Hagar, along with several officials and senior administrative figures from both sides.
