Military Service 2026: Census Operation from March 2 to April 30
As part of the measures required for the incorporation of the next class of conscripts for military service starting September 1, 2026, and in implementation of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the census operation for military service for the year 2026 will take place from March 2 to April 30, according to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior.

In accordance with the legal provisions governing military service, the Central Commission in charge of the military service census, chaired by the President of a Chamber at the Court of Cassation, held a meeting on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior. The meeting aimed to determine the criteria to be adopted for identifying young people required to fill out the census form in order to complete their military service as part of the 2026 conscription class.
During the meeting, the Central Commission defined the necessary criteria to determine the number of individuals who may be called upon to complete the census form for military service, based on the census database established by the Ministry of the Interior.
In light of the approved criteria, final lists of young people called to perform military service will be drawn up according to prefectures, provinces, and district prefectures to which they belong. The relevant local authorities across the national territory will print and deliver census notices to those concerned.
In this regard, the Minister of the Interior calls on young people who receive a notice to complete the census form online through the dedicated website for the military service census operation: www.tajnid.ma.
