Marrakech to Host the Second AfCFTA Business Forum on December 11 and 12

Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the forum is organized by the State Secretariat in charge of Foreign Trade, in cooperation with the AfCFTA Secretariat, ASMEX, the CGEM and the Association of Moroccan Regions. According to the organizers, this new edition fully aligns with the momentum launched by Morocco to accelerate the implementation of the AfCFTA at both national and continental levels.

A Constant Moroccan Commitment to Strengthened African Integration

The organization of this forum reaffirms the Kingdom’s determination to support free trade mechanisms and promote lasting economic integration among African nations. It also reflects Morocco’s pan-African vision under royal guidance, that of a country driving continental development, encouraging strategic cooperation and playing a key role in building a strong and integrated Africa.

A Platform for Dialogue to Accelerate the Continent’s Economic Transformation

This second edition aims to create a structured platform for reflection on the central role of the AfCFTA, considered a major lever for Africa’s economic transformation. The objective is clear: to mobilize all member states in order to speed up the agreement’s operationalization, strengthen intra-African trade, boost exports and attract more investment.

By focusing on economic complementarity and interregional cooperation, the forum seeks to contribute to the emergence of a more resilient and competitive African economy, capable of asserting itself on global markets.

High-Level Panels, Meetings and Exchanges

The program includes plenary sessions, thematic panels and B2B meetings bringing together ministers, economic decision-makers, business leaders and representatives of continental organizations. All share the same ambition: to make the AfCFTA a successful model of regional integration, inclusive and sustainable, serving the continent’s prosperity.
