The Senegalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulates Morocco on the successful organisation of the Africa Cup of Nations

Senegal praised the outstanding quality of the infrastructure, the discipline of the organisational setup, as well as the spirit of hospitality, goodwill and constant support extended to the Senegalese delegation, the participating teams and all supporters throughout the Africa Cup of Nations. This success once again illustrates the recognised expertise of the Kingdom of Morocco in several fields, as well as its sustained commitment to promoting African sport.

The final offered African and international audiences an intense, high-quality football spectacle, worthy of the talent and ambitions of both nations. Above all, it brought together two brotherly countries bound by strong relations at all levels.
