Nasser Bourita Meets with UNIDO Director General Gerd Müller
On the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held talks on Thursday in New York with Gerd Müller, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for cooperation between Morocco and UNIDO, particularly in the areas of sustainable industrialization, innovation, and strengthening productive capacities in Africa. Both officials stressed the importance of launching joint initiatives to promote inclusive and environmentally responsible development, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
