The Royal Moroccan Football Federation Expresses Solidarity with Omar El Hilali Following Racist Remarks
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has expressed its full solidarity and unconditional support for Moroccan international Omar El Hilali following the offensive remarks he was subjected to on Sunday, March 1, 2026, during the match of the 26th round of La Liga between RCD Espanyol Barcelona and Elche CF.
The FRMF strongly condemns and rejects all forms of racism or discrimination, both inside and outside stadiums. The Federation reiterates its commitment to promoting the values of tolerance and fair play in all competitions.
