Morocco and the United States strengthen customs cooperation to secure global trade
Customs cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States has reached a new milestone with the organisation of a joint workshop dedicated to innovation and best practices in control and risk management. Led by the United States Department of Commerce, in close cooperation with the Moroccan Customs Administration and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), this initiative reflects a shared determination to enhance the security of international trade.
At the core of this cooperation is the fight against counterfeiting and the protection of intellectual property, key challenges for the stability of global supply chains. By sharing expertise, tools and targeting methods, the two countries reaffirm their commitment to promoting lawful, secure and innovative trade.
