Passenger Traffic Reaches 24 Million at Moroccan Airports Over Eight Months
Rabat - Morocco has seen a surge in the number of passengers passing through airports, reaching 23.9 million during the first eight months of 2025. According to the Ministry of Economy, this marks an 11.7% year-on-year increase.
International passenger traffic rose by 11.2%, while domestic traffic increased by 15.8%, according to the Financial Studies and Forecasts Directorate of the ministry.
This rise is attributed to an increase to the European destination, followed by the Middle East, North and South America, Africa, and lastly Maghreb countries, according to the same source.
Meanwhile, air freight traffic has climbed 8.6% by the end of the first eight months of this year.
