GITEX Africa 2026: Strong Presence of American Innovation in Morocco
Present at GITEX Africa 2026, the United States Ambassador to Morocco, Duke Buchan III, highlighted the strong mobilization of American companies at this major technology event.

Following his visit to the various stands, the diplomat pointed to a striking observation: the significant presence of U.S. firms operating in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and secure digital infrastructure. In these areas, these companies are not merely exporting their expertise, but are engaging in a dynamic of long-term partnership with Morocco.
The ambassador emphasized the American approach, which focuses not only on technology, but also on human investment, the training of engineers, and the building of lasting relationships. According to him, this vision is based on trust and continuity, extending well beyond major international events.
Recalling 250 years of relations between Morocco and the United States, Duke Buchan III expressed strong optimism about the future of this cooperation, noting that the greatest opportunities are still ahead, particularly in the strategic field of technological innovation.
