Nasser Bourita Receives the Letters of Credence of Colombia’s New Ambassador to Morocco
Rabat – Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, received on Friday, August 29 in Rabat, Mr. Arturo Forero Sierra, who presented him with copies of his letters of credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.


This protocol ceremony marks the official start of Mr. Forero Sierra’s diplomatic mission in the Kingdom. It is part of the strengthening of bilateral relations between Morocco and Colombia, two countries bound by ties of friendship, cooperation and mutual respect.
During the meeting, the two officials reaffirmed the shared commitment of Rabat and Bogotá to deepen their partnership in various fields, ranging from economic, cultural and academic cooperation to political coordination within international forums.
The arrival of the new Colombian ambassador thus opens new prospects for advancing dialogue and expanding joint initiatives, in a context marked by the growing dynamism of Morocco–Latin America relations.
