Nadia Fettah: Morocco’s development path is inseparable from that of Africa
Morocco’s national development path is inseparable from the trajectory of Africa, said the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, on Friday in Rabat.

“Morocco, under the visionary guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, is moving fast, but never alone. Our national trajectory is inseparable from that of the continent”, stated Ms. Fettah during the closing ceremony of the 2025 edition of the Africa Investment Forum (AIF), held in the presence of the President of the African Development Bank Group, Sidi Ould Tah.
For more than two decades, the Kingdom’s ambition has been clear: grow with Africa, invest with Africa, and succeed with Africa, the Minister affirmed.
She added: “This forum confirms it. The Moroccan vision is that of a confident, interconnected and sovereign Africa, advancing in a strong continental dynamic”.
Speaking on the investment interests registered during the 2025 AIF Market Days, which exceeded 15.2 billion US dollars, Ms. Fettah noted that this achievement would not have been possible without the commitment of African states to reform, simplify procedures and strengthen predictability.
She recalled that these investment interests concern several key sectors, including energy, transport, infrastructure, productive sovereignty in agro-industry, other processing industries, emerging economies, digital technologies and fintech.
Overall, Ms. Fettah stressed that the AIF reflects an Africa that embraces its ambition and defines itself through solutions.
“We must mobilize more African capital to finance our economies with partners who respect our priorities, understand them and support them”, she recommended.
According to her, the future of the global economy will be shaped by this continent. Those who invest today will be the leaders of tomorrow.
Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the 2025 AIF was held from November 26 to 28 under the theme “Closing the gaps: mobilizing private capital to unlock Africa’s full potential”.
