Tebboune succeeds himself: When despair repeats Itself!

An old Tebboune hides another, or rather, the same one! Once again, Abdelmadjid Tebboune forces his way back—or is forced upon—the Algerian people, taking the helm of a nation gasping for air, crushed under the weight of a military pulling the strings from the shadows. Despite his aging antics and senility, his blatant inconsistencies, and his inability to revive an economy crumbling like a house of cards, Tebboune clings to power. He will be re-elected, as if by some absurd political magic trick!

A “Clown” at the Head of State:
This so-called re-election is merely the latest act in a national tragedy. The Algerian people, bemused, watch this burlesque theater where an old, declining “Tebboune” is paraded as the savior of a nation sinking deeper into chaos. The only problem: This “Tebboune” seems closer to sinking himself than to saving anything! How could a leader this weak and uninspiring possibly revive an economy that is so utterly moribund?

Ah, but Tebboune will “save” Algeria, claim his temporary lieutenants. This same Tebboune, worn out, stuck in his empty promises and absurd lies, tries to lull a credulous population with speeches as sterile as his economic policies. But for the Algerian youth, it’s clear that this tired Tebboune will not breathe life into a nation suffocated by an omnipresent military and rampant corruption.

Algeria shamelessly proclaims itself the “World’s 3rd Economic Power”:
Caught between empty promises of change and the harsh reality of a sclerotic regime, Tebboune resorts to The Big Lie, following the political adage: “The bigger the lie, the easier it is to swallow” or perhaps “Election promises only bind those who believe them.” But this electoral circus will soon give way to a grim hangover for the Algerian people.

How could this tired president, desperately seeking a “political virginity” lost long ago, possibly revive a country paralyzed by incompetence and repression? The answer, as painfully obvious as his previous term’s failure, is clear: he won’t.

With a worn-out Tebboune, far from smelling like roses (no pun intended), shriveled up and out of touch with the times, the Algerian people are bracing for yet another descent into the abyss. At least this “new Tebboune” still offers a bit of entertainment: a president trying to save Algeria with outdated Soviet-era bombast—it’s bound to get a few laughs.

The farce continues:
And so, the Algerian political circus rolls on, with a senile old Tebboune headlining and the desperate military junta directing the show. But no one is fooled, least of all the Algerians, who know full well that this Tebboune 2.0, stuck in his own contradictions and electoral lies, is leading them nowhere… or perhaps straight into a wall!
