OIC Condemns Iranian Attacks on Several Arab States
Riyadh – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned and expressed deep indignation over the attacks carried out by Iran against several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan.
In a statement released yesterday, the OIC described the escalation as unacceptable, warning that it poses a serious threat to regional stability and could have severe repercussions on peace and security in the region.
The OIC Secretariat also reaffirmed its full solidarity with the affected member states, emphasizing its support for any measures taken to protect their sovereignty, security, and stability.
Furthermore, the organization stressed that continuing violations of member states’ sovereignty and international law set a dangerous precedent that could undermine the foundations of international relations based on good neighborliness, mutual respect, and non-interference in domestic affairs.
