The Attorney General of the King Chairs a Communication Meeting with Judicial Officials from Commercial Court Prosecution Offices
As part of the ongoing efforts led by the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to enhance its performance in the protection of economic public order, encourage investment and improve judicial efficiency indicators, Mr. Hicham Balaoui, Attorney General of the King at the Court of Cassation and President of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, chaired on Monday, November 17, 2025, a communication meeting with judicial officials from the prosecution offices at commercial courts. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
This gathering was held in a context marked by the economic transformations underway in the Kingdom and aimed to support these developments by strengthening the protection of economic public order and ensuring a secure and conducive environment for investment.
During the meeting, several practical issues encountered by prosecution offices in commercial matters were presented. The session also served as a space for interactive discussion allowing the exchange of experience, the dissemination of best practices and the development of work mechanisms related to the economic and commercial sectors.
During the meeting, the President of the Public Prosecutor’s Office urged prosecution representatives at commercial courts to further elevate the level of judicial performance, ensure the proper application of the law, reinforce investment protection and strengthen the professional skills of public prosecutors in areas related to commerce and economy.
This meeting is part of the continued commitment of the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to support national efforts aimed at strengthening trust in the justice system, improving the business climate and upholding the principles of good governance.
