According to the same source, the decision enjoys broad support among Malians, both within the country and across the diaspora. It is seen as carrying major political and strategic significance, likely to strengthen national unity and contribute to regional stability.

The Malian community also stressed that the decision reflects the strength of the historic and brotherly ties between Mali and Morocco, based on mutual respect, active solidarity, and diverse cooperation.

In its statement, the Malian diaspora in Morocco further reaffirmed its attachment to the institution of Imarat Al-Mouminine, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, praising the Sovereign’s role in promoting the values of peace, religious tolerance, and stability across the African continent.
