Morocco, Spain Hold Ministerial Talks in Madrid on Bilateral Cooperation

Madrid - A series of bilateral talks were held on Thursday in Madrid between members of the Moroccan government and their Spanish counterparts, as part of the 13th Morocco-Spain High-Level Meeting, aimed at consolidating the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, held talks with the Spanish minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, focusing on strengthening industrial and commercial cooperation between the two countries.

The minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Leila Benali, met with the Third Vice President of the Spanish Government, Minister for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Sara Aagesen.

For his part, the minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, Mohamed Saad Berrada, met with the Spanish Minister of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports, and government spokesperson, Pilar Alegría.

In addition, the minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari, accompanied by the Secretary of State for Fisheries, Zakia Driouich, held a working meeting with the Spanish minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, Luis Planas.

The minister of Health and Social Protection, Amine Tahraoui, held talks with the Spanish minister for Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration, Elma Saiz.

The minister delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, Karim Zidane, held talks with the minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Oscar Puente.

These bilateral meetings are part of efforts to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Spain, and reflect the shared willingness of both countries to deepen their partnership in several areas of mutual interest.
